Alyssa Phillips Bio

Hi my name is Alyssa Phillips. I have been dancing since I was three years old. Dancing has been a big part of my life and I still continue to take classes as an adult. I have had amazing opportunities as a dancer being able to travel and perform in Canada and the United States. For many years I danced with the DanceCo Dancers. We performed at many events including the Festival of Trees, Northern Alberta Children’s Festival, Penticton Peachfest and Disneyland. I have taken dance training through workshops in Edmonton, Calgary, Vegas, Disneyland California and New York City.
My teaching started when I was twelve years old and became a part of the STAR team program. When I was fifteen I taught some eight week classes as a Junior teacher and the next year I had full year classes that went to dance festivals. I have received numerous choreography awards for my dances and my students have won awards for their performances. I look forward to a wonderful year at DanceCo! |
