My daughter thoroughly enjoys attending the Happy Heart Playschool, often asking if she can go every day! As a psychologist and former early childhood educator, I know the value and importance of a positive early learning experience to cultivate a love for lifelong learning. Children naturally respond to music, movement, dance, art and drama. The dance component of this program provides a medium through which the children can explore movement and different genres of music, as well as express their inner creativity. Exposing children early in their years to such a diverse curriculum helps them to excel in other areas such as mathematics, languages, and science. There is great value in exposing children early to the performing arts, as it helps them to develop their critical thinking skills, socialization and self-confidence.  As well, it helps in enhancing imagination, creativity, and flexible ways of thinking.  Ms. Sherri’s ability to incorporate the arts and academics provides the children with a well-rounded, developmentally appropriate and enriching experience.

Happy Heart Preschool is a loving, nurturing and fun place to introduce your child to school and early learning. As with most parents, trusting your child’s well-being to someone else is a very difficult thing to do, but Sherri and the environment at the preschool made us rest assure that our Nicole was being well taken care of. Sherri is exceptional at what she does, but also at how much she cares for all the children. It is like a home away from home! The facility is extremely clean and organized, there is always something fun and exciting planned for the children. There is constant communication with the parents that keeps both parents and teacher on the same page. Nicole truly has been given tender loving care! She has been nurtured intellectually, socially, and emotionally. It’s a joy to come a few minutes early to pick Nicole up from school to watch her and her classmates do their dance routines. They are having so much fun…almost as much as their teacher!!!!
