At three years of age Kara Lyn Bronsch began her 20+ year career in the performing arts. In addition to tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical/contemporary, she has trained with the Shumka School of Ukrainian Dance and Arthur Murray Ballroom Dance Centre. Her natural ability and skill has allowed her to study at and receive scholarships from Triple Threat Dance Convention, Harbour Dance Vancouver, Edge Los Angeles, Banff School of Fine Arts and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, to name a few. Kara has studied under some of today’s top choreographers, namely Brain Friedman, Tyce Diorio, Kelly Konno, Stacey Tookey, Bradley Rapier, Mia Michaels and Shelley Tookey. Kara has a University background in theatre arts and strives to encourage her students to perform from the heart and develop a connection to their routine. Kara has acted in numerous short films, and has been awarded the ‘Best Actress’ award at more than one film festival in the city. Having landed the lead role as a 30 year old man in the University of Alberta’s Production of ”Village of Idiots”, Kara never shies away from a challenge and can even be seen gracing the Blockbuster shelves in ”Fubar II.” Never a dull moment, Kara has been known to don designer duds and take to the runway. Most recently, she was seen strutting her stuff in the Celebrity Fashion Show for Western Canada’s Fashion Week! Kara loves her students and can’t wait to put her new choreography ideas to good use on all these amazing, talented and dedicated dancers. Let’s work hard and have a great time this year!! |
