Tia Carroll Bio

Tia Carroll has been performing since the age of 5. She has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre and drama.  Tia has won many awards and scholarships in dance as well as provincial drama awards.  One of her biggest thrills was being able to perform for Princess Diana and Prince Charles at the opening of the BC Festival of the Arts in 1986. 

Tia has been with DanceCo for the past 7 years.  She has won many choreography awards over the years and was the co-director for the DanceCo Performing Company on their 2010 trip to Disney! 

Tia is looking forward to assisting the Artistic Director and embarking on a leadership role this coming season.  Her passion for dance makes her an excellent teacher and her approachable personality makes her an excellent choice for these added duties. She hopes to share her love of dance with the DanceCo teachers, administrators, parents and students!
